Heart Disease Death Rates, Total Population Ages 35+

Heart Disease Death Rates for 2012 through 2014 for Adults Aged 35 Years and Older by County. The map shows that concentrations of counties with the highest heart disease death rates - meaning the top quintile - are located primarily in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.  Pockets of high-rate counties also were found in Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, Texas, and Nevada.
