Office of International Cancer Control

CDC’s Office of International Cancer Control is a global leader in efforts to understand and reduce the burden of cancer. CDC works with international cancer organizations, ministries of health, non-governmental organizations, and other groups to prevent and control cancer around the world.

CDC focuses on improving global partnerships and making the most of resources to help resolve common cancer challenges. The lessons learned with our international partners also benefit domestic cancer programs, especially in places like the U.S. Affiliated Pacific Islands, where there is a shortage of financial and human resources for hospitals and public health programs.
