National YRBS/SHPPS Combination Fact Sheets (2015 YRBS and 2014 SHPPS)

These fact sheets present information about the percentages of high school students who engage in certain risk behaviors, along with the status of school health policies and programs designed to address those behaviors.

Compare State and National Results

The following links provide tables that compare 2015 state YRBS data with 2015 national YRBS data. Each table includes

  • Selected state prevalence estimates and confidence intervals
  • National prevalence estimates and confidence intervals
  • Comparisons between the selected state and national data based on t-test analyses

*States listed had weighted data for the 2015 YRBS. This means that the site achieved at least a 60% overall response rate. With weighted data, it is possible to say, for example, “X% of high school students in our state smoked cigarettes during the past month.

Compare District and National Results

The following links provide tables that compare 2015 district YRBS data with 2015 national YRBS data. Each table includes
