Description of Resource: 
The Guidelines Implementation Panel (GIP) Report presents recommendations and strategies for addressing barriers, identified by the GIP, for primary care providers in implementing the clinical recommendations presented in the Expert Panel Report 3: Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Management of Asthma. GIP was convened by the National Asthma Education and Prevention Program and coordinated by the National Institute of Health’s National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. The ultimate goal of the report is to improve providers’ acceptance and utilization of guidelines.
