Description of Resource:
The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommends against screening for cervical cancer with human papillomavirus (HPV) testing, alone or in combination with cytology, in women younger than age 30 years. This is a D recommendation, which means the USPSTF recommends against the service. There is moderate or high certainty that the service has no net benefit or that the harms outweigh the benefits.
