INRO is intended for science and medical students from populations underrepresented in biomedical research, financially disadvantaged backgrounds, or those with disabilities.

Join NIAID’s diverse research community for 4 days in February to learn about the research training experience at the Institute, and find out what it is like to train as a researcher at a leading multi-disciplinary research facility. NIAID will pay expenses for travel and hotel accommodations and reimburse INRO students for meals after the program.

INRO 2018 will be held February 5 – 8, 2018. INRO 2018 Flyer

For those students affected by the recent hurricanes, we understand this is a difficult time. We are offering our support to help with the application process to ensure all have the opportunity to apply to our program. If you are experiencing hardship and/or displacement due to the hurricane, please contact us by October 15, 2017 either by phone 301-496-2638, or email at inro@niaid.nih.gov, and we will work with you to accommodate your challenges.
