The guidelines for the use of antiretroviral agents in HIV-1-infected adults and adolescents were developed by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Panel on Antiretroviral Guidelines for Adults and Adolescents, a working group of the Office of AIDS Research Advisory Council (OARAC). The Panel updates the guidelines and recommendations as needed through periodic review of new evidence.
