This supplement's focus is on public health issues affecting American Indians/Alaskan Natives (AI/AN) and indigenous populations and coincides with the 4th Biannual CDC Tribal Consultation session in Atlanta on January 26-28, 2010. (http://www.cdc.gov/omhd/TCP/Consultations/BiannualConsultations.htm ) Multiple CDC subject matter experts have selected featured articles on health topics relevant to AI/AN and indigenous populations.
