Number of Salmonella, STEC (Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli), Listeria isolates and isolate-yielding specimens submitted to FoodCORE laboratories. All data are from Year One (10/1/10-9/3011). Baseline is from combined Quarter 1 and Quarter 2 data. Salmonella: 1,812 isolates baseline; 3,879 isolates final quarter. STEC: 270 isolates baseline, 448 isolates final quarter. Listeria: 58 isolates baseline, 32 isolates final quarter.
