Una encuesta hecha recientemente por los Centros para el Control y la Prevención de Enfermedades encontró que más de una cuarta parte de los hispanos (26.1 %) reportó tener presión arterial alta y casi la tercera parte de los que tienen presión arterial alta (30.4 %) no estaba tomando los medicamentos que podrían reducir su riesgo de ataques cardiacos y accidentes cerebrovasculares.
