Because no cases were reported in the United States during 2014, the following diseases do not appear in these early release tables: anthrax; dengue hemorrhagic fever; eastern equine encephalitis, nonneuroinvasive; poliomyelitis, paralytic; poliovirus infection, nonparalytic; severe acute respiratory syndrome-associated coronavirus disease (SARS-CoV); smallpox; vancomycin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (VRSA); western equine encephalitis virus disease, neuroinvasive and nonneuroinvasive; and yellow fever.
